mayabelen asked: What is your all time favorite conditioner?

Answer:

regular conditioner or deep conditioner? Cause it depends do you want it for breakage or to keep color in? etc. etc.

Hell I’ll give you some of my favorite right now because i have a lot of breakage from going blonde and that seems to most of the world’s problem anyway.

Joico K Pak collection is wonderful.

but there’s always mixed feelings on it makes people’s hair oily. (not mine)

Or the Artec Kiwi shampoo and conditioner is good made my hair really soft and silky but didnt do much for repair

And right now I’m totally loving the Redken Extreme collection. I use the leave-in conditioner called Anti-Snap and the Deep conditioner as well. Those two together have made my hair more healthy than It’s a 10 and i lived by Its a 10 for a long long time

hope that helps =)

lovelydyedlocks:

1. Begin by putting the hair into a low ponytail, then pulling the ponytail holder down toward the ends.
2. Take your rolled up scarf and lay it across the top of the ends of the ponytail and roll it upwards, towards the head.
3. & 4. When you reach the base of the head, bring the ends of the scarf around and tie them at the front of your head, slightly off center.
5. & 6. Tuck in the sides and pull your bangs up and over the scarf and tuck them in to finish the look. Add a flower for garnish.

Anonymous asked: I've got coloured hair that's a natural red and would like to go white-blonde with silver/grey lowlights, and was wondering approx how many visits to the salon it'd take to achieve that colour? Also, what can I do to lessen the damage?

Answer:

I cannot predict how many appointments it will take for your hair to get white, because i cannot feel nor see your hair…the dark the “natural red” the longer it will take and it depends on your hair texture…you will have to go in a consult a local hair dresser…now to lessen damage in the process i suggest buying a deep reconstructing/condition mask as well as a good moisturizing/conditioning shampoo and conditioner and a leave in conditioner…these should be a must in everyones shower =) hope this helps.

What is your acne telling you?
1 & 2: Digestive System — Eat less processed or junk food, reduce the amount of fat in your diet, step up water intake and opt for cooling things like cucumbers.
3: Liver — Cut out the alcohol, greasy food and dairy. This is the zone where food allergies also show up first, so take a look at your ingredients. Besides all this, do 30 minutes of light exercise every day and get adequate sleep so your liver can rest.
4 & 5: Kidneys — Anything around the eyes (including dark circles) point to dehydration. Drink up!
6: Heart — Check your blood pressure (mine was slightly high) and Vitamin B levels. Decrease the intake of spicy or pungent food, cut down on meat and get more fresh air. Besides this, look into ways to lower cholesterol, like replacing “bad fats” with “good fats” such as Omegas 3 and 6 found in nuts, avocados, fish and flax seed. Also, since this area is chock-full of dilated pores, check that your makeup is not past its expiry date or is skin-clogging.
7 & 8: Kidneys — Again, drink up! And cut down on aerated drinks, coffee and alcohol as these will cause further dehydration.
Zone 9 & 10: Respiratory system — Do you smoke? Have allergies? This is your problem area for both. If neither of these is the issue, don’t let your body overheat, eat more cooling foods, cut down on sugar and get more fresh air. Also keep the body more alkaline by avoiding foods that make the body acidic (meat, dairy, alcohol, caffeine, sugar) and adding more alkalizing foods like green veggies and wheatgrass juice. Another thing that most of forget – dirty cell phones and pillow cases are two of the top acne culprits and this area is what they affect the most!
Zone 11 & 12: Hormones — This is the signature zone for stress and hormonal changes. And while both are sometimes unavoidable, you can decrease their effect by getting adequate sleep, drinking enough water, eating leafy veggies and keeping skin scrupulously clean. Another interesting point: breakouts in this area indicate when you are ovulating (and on which side).
Zone 13: Stomach — Step up the fibre intake, reduce the toxin overload and drink herbal teas to help with digestion.
14: Illness — Zits here can be a sign that your body is fighting bacteria to avoid illness. Give it a break, take a yoga class, take a nap, take time to breathe deeply, drink plenty of water and know that everything always works out!
So the next time you break out or notice dark under-eye circles, look to your face map: your skin is probably trying to communicate on behalf of the internal organs. However, do remember that, as with all medical issues, it is always best to see your doctor or dermotologist for a proper prognosis. This is just a general guide to head you off in the right investigative direction – just because you break out between the brows doesn’t always mean you have a bad liver!

ok so i have to drink a crap ton more water, and also fuck you hormones

wow not surprising i need to cut off the dairy and also watch my liver (i had problems with my liver when i was born so„)
INTERESTING

ok this is neat

wow thanks hormones and stress

kittenswag asked: I was planning on dying it pink all over since it didn't come out the blonde i wanted, coming out a dark honey blonde instead, but I don't wanna do that with the burn on my head :c help?! thank you <3

Answer:

(for my followers this was a multiple message question) Oh wow….why on earth would you bleach your hair that many times in one sitting? terrible idea…first off you shouldnt do it more than twice (pushing it to three can cause burns and very bad damage) i suggest you dont do anything to your hair for about a week…as for hair damage…i would go to a local salon and find out what best deep conditioners they have for your hair (maybe they’ll have one for your scalp too) find something with protein to help fix your hair you need to rebuild it not just moisturize…next time you want to do a serious drastic change on your hair i suggest going to a professional….not doing it yourself…also you cant go from black to platnium…it takes time and process…use toners..dont just keep bleaching…if you value your hair treat like you value your life…you couldve started with a purple over your orange first…that wouldve helped tone down the orange over a period of time an allow you to go lighter….sorry you did this to your hair…but common now…you never bleach your hair that many times in such a close amount of time…you should only do it about every 2 weeks IF that…more like once a month…

Anonymous asked: How can you get wavy hair without using any heat?

Answer:

put a curling lotion or mousse with an oil and crunch your hair up and dont touch it let it naturally dry. or add big rollers in your hair and let it air dry then take them out run your fingers through it and hair spray…theres lots of different types of rollers out there that have different types of curled effects i would get a few and try them out. big and small..play with your hair =)

HAIR CARE TIP 5

What it does:

Oatmeal will release its nutrients into your hair while the yogurt hydrates it.

How To Use:

This will make your hair soft, you should mix 2-3 tablespoons of yogurt into either whole oatmeal or oatmeal that you’ve put into the blender and its powdered. Apply it all over your scalp and hair and leave it on for 30 minutes and wash out.

Anonymous asked: Can you recommend a shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, and hair mask for fine damaged hair? Preferably drugstore or something that isn't expensive.

Answer:

Nothing is better than salon products than what you buy at a salon..i do know that bedhead and big and sexy sell stuff in drug stores but they cost about as much as buying it in a salon or even more. I like mane and tail or herbal essence (stay away from garnier, tresseme, and a few others they will dry your hair out or make it fall out, stay clear of anything where the main ingredient is alcohol). I’m not exactly sure about drug store leave ins since i use “It’s a 10” for mine with the keratin in it..works wonders for my hair since its so fried on the blonde side. You could always use mayo and a wrap it with ceram wrap for a mask leave it in for about 15 mins. But anything that is “morrocan oil” or “coconut oil” or “almond oil” will work as well..I believe if you look through my archive there is a post about homemade hair masks =) i hope this helps =)

Anonymous asked: What tips would you give for trying to keep hair color in longer?

Answer:

COLD WATER! And color safe shampoo. The cold water keep your cuticle closed and doesnt allow color molecules to fall out. The color safe shampoos also keep your cuticle closed and if youre using color safe shampoos that are directed toward (red, blonde, brown hair etc.) they put color molecules back into your hair. =). Stay away from chlorine, sun, cheap shampoos and conditioners, and products with alcohol as the main ingredient. Buy uv protecting leave in conditioners as well =)

So I’ve been taking biotin vitamins

Apparently they help hair growth, nail growth, metabolism, etc..

Totally works I’ve been taking them for about two month, i feel as though my weight is dropping, i dont eat nearly as much as i used to (even after smoking a bowl), my hair feels healthier and has probably grown about 1/2 an inch and my nails are so much thickers and are growing incredibly fast. (they had no strength at all)

I’m totally loving these vitamins. anyone else use them?
